Sarah joined the Team ELM family initially as a childcare provider and has also taken of the role of family manager as a result of her excellent leadership skills.
Sarah is a graduate of South Brunswick High School. While most of her peers were getting ready to begin their college careers, Sarah was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and had to undergo treatment for 3 long, arduous years. During that time Sarah was treated with the pediatric oncology population, she interacted with children of various ages as well as healthcare providers, child life specialists and was able to appreciate the complex needs of children, in particular those with cancer diagnosis. Her resilience allowed her to get through this very difficult time, and now she is passionate about providing all aspects of care and being a support system to the families she serves. Sarah is a true inspiration!
Fun Facts about Sarah:
1) Sarah is involved with the Embrace Kids Foundation at Robert Wood Johnson, a local organization based in New Brunswick supporting children with blood disorders and their families.
2) When Sarah is not booked with the Team ELM children, her aunts patiently wait for her to help take care of her cousins, Luke 3 & Dylan 1 ½ in California and Ava 5 months in Jersey City.
3) Sarah has extensively traveled throughout Europe and the UK including, England, Ireland, Spain, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
4) Sarah also has a love for cooking and while traveling, she makes sure to visit the restaurants of some of her favorite chefs.
